Do you actually need a cat bed?

What should a cat bed be like?

What size is good for a cat bed?
Many cats love stretching out properly. This should be accommodated in cat beds too so there is no lack of comfort. Measure your cat from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail and add twice the length of its legs. On a reclining surface of this size, your cat can make itself comfortable in any position. However, there are also cats that prefer to curl up, so they may also have a slightly smaller model, in which they can lie as if in a hollow. Hence, some cat beds are also adjustable in size, i.e. with a drawstring at the edge in order to be able to accommodate different types to the same extent.
How should cat beds be set up?
Connecting rooms, corridors and utility rooms aren't suitable places for cat beds. Instead, choose a cosy spot in a room where you yourself like to spend a lot of time. The lounge is a perfect choice in many cases. If you work from home, it could also be the office. Always avoid draughty areas in the immediate vicinity of doors.
