Product description
Dietetic food for adult cats with chronic renal insufficiency, with a low phosphorus and protein content, to reduce the formation of oxalate and urate stones, with urinary alkalising properties.
If the kidneys are dysfunctional, excess degradation products and toxins can no longer be excreted sufficiently and can accumulate in the body. This leads to an overload of the kidneys. Cats suffering from kidney disease, such as chronic renal insufficiency, need food that provides the best possible relief for the kidneys.Oxalate and urate stones can be caused by, amongst other things, insufficient fluid intake in conjunction with an acidic urinary environment. Stone formation can be reduced by adjusting the protein and mineral content and urine pH value.
How does Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Renal with Salmon support your cat?
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Renal with Salmon is a specially developed high-premium complete dietetic food for adult cats that is optimally adapted to the nutritional requirements of cats with kidney weakness, oxalate and urate stones.
Due to the low protein content and the use of high-quality proteins, fewer degradation products, such as urea, are produced. A low phosphorus content supports cats with kidney disease, as they are often unable to excrete excess phosphorus. This can relieve the kidneys.
The formation of bladder stones, such as oxalate and urate stones, is reduced by a low calcium, vitamin D and purine content and a special mineral ratio that counteracts over-acidification of the urine.
Impaired kidney function is often accompanied by a loss of appetite, which is why Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Renal with Salmon is particularly well accepted.
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet - customised for the special nutritional needs of your cat.
