Plaqtiv+® Toothpaste is a malt-flavoured dental paste for dogs and cats, powered by scientifically-supported Xpersiv™ technology to help reduce plaque formation, support gum health and promote fresher breath. The palatable recipe makes it more enticing even to cats and dogs that dislike having their teeth brushed.
It is suitable for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, as well as being ideal for combining with other products in the Plaqtiv+® range to create an effective daily dental care routine.
Plaqtiv+® Toothpaste uses patented Xpersiv™ technology to bind the minerals that cause tartar formation, helping to prevent biofilm maturation and calculus build-up.
Without regular oral care, plaque can rapidly mineralise and form hard tartar. By capturing these minerals, the Xpersiv™ technology can help to disrupt the process, weakening the biofilm and softening any existing calculus to make it easier to remove. This can help to make daily oral care products such as chews, toothpastes and wipes even more effective.
