There are small holes in the roof of the box which act as a mat, so that loose bits of litter can brush off and then simply drop back into the box. The litter scoop and integrated brush can help with the rest.

ModKat is all about cleanliness. The scratch-proof litter insert with fortified edges fits perfectly inside the box, and cleaning is a breeze – simply remove the lid and clean the litter tray out as normal. For a deeper clean, the insert can be removed by the attached loops. Once the litter is disposed off, simply clean the insert under running water. Dry it off, replace it inside the ModKat Cat Litter Box, add fresh litter, and voila! You're ready to go! The insert should be protected from scratches by a 8 - 10 cm high layer of litter.
