I've been struggling to find more than a couple of flavours of kitten foods with most being chicken, lamb or turkey. Whilst my kittens like these flavours, I can't help but feel guilty at the lack variety they have. However carny cat gives them the variety they need. They gobble the stuff down and I can only liken it to giving cats dreamies.

My cats took a couple of cans to get used to this, as they had been used to cereal stuffed cat food, but they love it now. I love that it has such a high meat content. My cats fur is amazingly soft and sleek now they have less of a junk food (cereal) diet. A previous reviewer thought it fatty which surprises me - the fat content is around 6%.

I got this for my three cats to see if one of my fussy girls would like it. Although two of them liked it okay, it was so fatty I really don't feel comfortable giving it to them. I'm no vet but I've seen plenty of vets say online cats arteries are so small that fatty meats like ham are bad for them. I didn't think the beef heart would be so fatty as it is. I ended up giving most of these cans to the shelter and telling them it's best for dogs.
