Good for diabetic cat

Finally, diabetic food the cat will eat! I have tried a few different foods but it was a struggle to get my cat to eat it. However he scoffs this food up quite happily and even looks for more. He loves all 4 flavours and the biscuits too. I am very happy and very relieved. Hoping that his blood test result next month will be much improved.

Since my cat has been on this food he no longer requires a daily insulin injections. He has gone into remission. Obviously this is not just down to the food but has gone a long way to levelling his sugar levels in his blood.

I went through many diabetic cat foods for what was a very skinny and unwell diabetic cat. Although my cat remains on a small dose of insulin he has thrived on this food -his back legs are stronger and his muscle mass is back.I might add he is not too fussed on the salmon flavour but loves all others. Nice surprise as my cat also loves this brand, smells good when opened and an empty plate is the answer.

Ordered this food because the 200g tins have been discontinued by Bitiba 😭😭 The packaging suggests it's the same wet food, but that's definitely not the case. With the tins, my cat did just fine without insulin, but now that I'm giving him this food, I notice his coat is getting worse again, he's peeing more, and also wants to eat more. I contacted the manufacturer and the tins haven't been discontinued by them, so from now on I'll have to turn to the competition for my cat...

Even my diabetic tomcat really loves the taste.
