Gimpet Hy-Gras

I usually buy pre grown, but it kept arriving half dead. I was a bit worried at first with this because of the jelly (water) that rose to the top after watering it the first time. I kept it in a bright space but not in direct sun. When it finally grew, my goodness it is so thick, it's still alive nearly 2 weeks later because the jelly holds the moisture and keeps it from drying out. The jelly is non toxic. My cat absolutely loves it, munching daily. I spray it daily. Very good!5*

Positive point: grows very quickly. The rest is negative. It's sparse, my cat has trouble chewing it. Also, when she pulls on it, the base comes off and since it turns into gel, I was worried she might get poisoned, so straight in the bin. It's not cheap and it ends up in the bin. I bought some Trixie cat grass sachets to grow, they seem good.

The best we've tried, thick, beautiful, lasts a long time.

The grass is a hit with both the sphynx and Maine coon cats, and even the parrot likes it. We're happy with it.
