I've been buying these kibbles for a long time, but my recent orders have contained a lot of crushed kibbles, almost like dust. One time there was 850g of it, which is just too much out of a 6.5kg bag of not exactly cheap food.

I’d been buying this cat food for over 2 years because it had really good ingredients and my cats loved it—in fact, I even had it on a subscription so we’d never run out. However, lately I’ve been getting more bags in the format without a zip, the food inside is sandier, and the cats don’t seem to like it as much, plus they’ve changed the formula. It’s a real shame they’ve ruined a quality product like this. Ah well, I’m going to switch to another brand of cat food.

My cat has terrible allergies with kibble, and with Purizon I’d almost found a solution—her symptoms were nearly gone. But lately, the allergies have come back strong, and now I’m seeing reviews saying the recipe has changed. Even my vet said these were good kibbles, and he doesn’t even sell them! Absolutely rubbish. Well, bye bye Purizon.

Both my cats have loved eating Purizon for years, and I’ve always been very satisfied. However, in the last few bags, I’ve noticed there’s a lot of food dust and small crumbs inside. This means a lot of bits are left in the bowl at the end, which my cats can’t eat anymore. Also, the packaging has changed. There used to be a handy resealable closure, but unfortunately that’s been removed. Because of this, it’s less convenient now.

The dry food can no longer be properly sealed, which is really a shame. Why?

Indeed, the packaging has changed and the kibble is no longer the same as before—the quality is worse. We chose this brand because one of our three cats has fragile health, and now the manufacturer has gone over to the dark side by putting meat proteins instead of fresh meat, along with other ingredients that just aren’t suitable for animal food. Since when do animals have to eat cereals?????

I've been stubbornly buying these kibbles with the new recipe for a few months now, telling myself it would get better with the next bag, but it hasn't improved. One of my cats now has severe, very watery diarrhoea, which she never had before, even though she's in perfect health. It's such a shame—I won't be buying them again. The supplier really needs to do something and go back to the old recipe, because clearly this is affecting a lot of customers' cats... Given the price, it's just unacceptable.

They’ve changed the formula for all the varieties. My chubby one used to love it before—I had his daily portions set up with the automatic feeder, and he’d sit and wait a few minutes before each meal. It worked well for him; he lost weight gradually. Now, there’s always leftover food, it piles up, and he’s losing weight, but not in a good way. Also, the kibble is really powdery now, full of tiny bits he won’t eat—they just fall apart in the feeder and you end up wasting loads. The same thing happened with the fish flavour.

My cats have always liked it for over a year. Too bad they changed the packaging and removed the plastic zip closure, which is really needed with such a big bag.

I gave these kibbles to my cat for 5 years, but in April I received a different batch—no zip, the kibbles looked and smelled different... My cat got really bad diarrhoea that was hard to treat. Luckily, the customer service was very understanding and responsive.

I’m disappointed with the 6.5 kg pack. This pack always used to have a zip—I’ve been ordering it for a long time. Today I received a delivery that doesn’t have a zip or even a plastic strip to snap shut, so the bag can’t be closed. Because of that, it’ll be hard for me to store the food properly. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering these kibbles anymore.

Like Polina and Kévin, who wrote the previous reviews, I regret the noticeably lower—or even non-existent—quality when the packet doesn’t have a zip. Two different manufacturing sites, with ingredients from different sources?!! I have five cats, one of them 18 years old, and at least three of them have had diarrhoea and hair loss. I stopped immediately and bought locally, no transition—what’s the point?! I’m angry, because the price hasn’t gone down, but that’s it for Purizon!
