My 15-year-old Sacred Birman needed a smaller scratching post because she often has balance issues and shouldn’t climb too high anymore (risk of falling). We attached her old hammock to the top left. Perfect! It’s well suited for normally sized cats. For our Maine Coon, though, the beds and the cave are too small, especially now that she’s older and less mobile. Very pretty, sturdy, good quality, easy to assemble, and used straight away. We’re very happy, and so is the cat.
