I'm honestly quite disappointed with this original Vetbed. The pile height and density are very good. But even after washing at 40 degrees, it still smells strongly of chemicals/rubber, which is really not something you can expect any dog's nose to tolerate. And the yellow rubber coating started peeling off in several places after just the first wash.
