Trixie Friends on Tour de Luxe Bike Basket

The Trixie is very well made and I feel totally fit for purpose, giving the pet a safe ride. Easy to fit. My difficulty is that my electric bike is very heavy, the carrier is not light weight, so I am still practising with it, before taking my 5kg Chihuahua out. My coastal village is full of twists and turns and steep narrow lanes. I’m sure we’d be ok on a cycle path though. Remains to be seen if he will like it, but does sit in it at night!

My dog weighs 6.8 kg. After using the basket about 25 times, the back wall at the level of the mount has already broken. The basket is supposedly rated for 7 kg.
