Lillebro Coconut Shells with Bird Food

I hang them on tree branches in my garden and sometimes put one on the ground: the birds in my garden (sparrows, tits, starlings, jackdaws and even a woodpecker) absolutely love them. I suspect the fat is also healthy for them. My advice: hang them close to (or in) branches so the birds can eat safely. I've heard of someone hanging a coconut in the middle of the garden and then no birds come—far too scary for them.
