Was supposed to be shell-free... This one has a shell.

I started with other types of wild bird food, but I noticed they always left some behind and not all kinds of birds would come. With this one, both the shelled and unshelled versions (the shelled one is a bit tricky for the smaller birds), they absolutely love it. Sparrows, redstarts, pigeons, doves, blue tits, greenfinches, even a few goldfinches, and even magpies come to have breakfast at my place every day—they don’t leave a single bit.

The birds love the mix

Birds know what's good. :) A small flock has now grown into a sizeable bird gang straight out of a Hitchcock film: about twenty collared doves and smaller bird species. The doves especially love the oily sunflower seeds, which are also a favourite of the tits, and in the end, all the scattered seeds disappear and the birds demand more. Anyone who knows the look of a hungry bird can't let them down. :) The 4 kg bags last quite a while, the seed mix is varied and shell-free – I recommend it!
