Product description
Specially designed food for cats with limited kidney functions. It is easy to digest & efficiently absorbed due to its reduced protein and phosphorous content. Grain free with no artificial additives.
Reduced kidney function and renal disease can have many causes in cats. It often results from a previous illness, or can be caused by nutritional or hereditary factors. Cats with renal problems require a special diet with a reduced content of protein and phosphorous.
Integra Protect Renal is a balanced wet food that addresses these specific needs and helps to relieve the kidneys. Cats with renal problems are typically not able to digest high levels of phosphorous and have difficulty eliminating the by-products of protein. Food too rich in protein can often risk further compromising an already hampered pair of kidneys. This is why the protein and phosphorous content of Integra Protect Renal has been reduced. The protein used is of the highest quality in order to compensate for your cat’s need to consume it in relatively small quantities. The recipe is completely grain free, making it suitable for cats with grain or gluten intolerances.
It contains potato as an easily digestible and nutritious source of carbohydrates.
The ease with which cats can digest Integra Protect Renal sets it apart from its competitors. In the interest of promoting optimal nutritional levels in your pet, the recommended daily ration should be divided amongst three meals a day if at all possible.

Made my cat love life again
My 17yr old cat suffered renal problems after hyperthyroidism treatment.Tried every other renal product available and was at a loss as to what to feed her next. She also takes bloodpressure medication with also reduced her appetite but this has kicked her appetite back to life and she's averaging 3 trays a day where she was only eating afew spoonfuls.
Thankyou thankyou so much

Godsend
I have the same old story with an 18yr old cat diagnosed with CKD, vet only giving Hills or Royal Canin as a diet option. Only suggesting a phosphorous blocker to add to his normal food if he wouldn't eat either. Whilst he enjoys and continues a year on to enjoy the Hills renal dry food, he very soon hated the Hills wet food and stopped eating(I tried all serving suggestions Hills gave me to entice him). In the past he has been sick(is hypoallergenic) on Royal Canin dry food so I initially did not try it. I was cautious but desperate to try a renal food he would and could eat. Fortunately I found Integra Protect Turkey which he loves mashed up as well as Kattovit Turkey and sometimes he has them mixed together. He also loves and can digest Royal Canin wet food! I am over the moon as he has never had such a healthy appetite in all his 18years. He is blind and so food has to smell and taste good for him to get interested. These three products are brilliant, he seems so healthy!

Tasty and moreish
I have been feeding my 23 year old male cat on Integra Renal for quite some time now and he enjoys all four flavours. He is diabetic and has compromised kidney function, but I believe that dietary changes, along with medication, have helped prolong his life. I fully recommend it.

a life saver
i was so so worried about my little cat (molly) who was diagnosed at the end of last year with ckd and the vet put her on royal canin renal wet food she ate for awhile then refused i then put her on hills renal wet food and the same thing happened i was at my wits end as at one point she didnt eat for 3 days and it has been known for cats to starve themselves to death but then i came across the bitiba site and tried her on the integra range of wet food in trays with pork she adores it and cant get enough off it so i have my fingers crossed that she doesnt go off it but i dont think she will i also bought the kattovit wet food in gravy and she fairly laps that up to this site has been a godsend to me as i was so so worried and very upset the only downfall that i can see is i dont think they sell it in a bigger quantity only 6 trays but i am going to email the company to ask great site delivery more than excellent love it
