Product description

Balanced dry cat food for adult cats, for the reduction of hairballs with exclusive anti-hairball complex, psyllium and micro-fibres to stimulate intestinal function, proven effectiveness.

A cat dedicates around 30% of its day to caring for its fur, removing dirt and any loose hairs. These can then collect in your cat's stomach, either being digested or forming hairballs that are then regurgitated. This vomiting places strain on the digestive system and can cause a loss of nutrients, so it is healthier for the hairballs to be naturally removed through your cat's stool.

Royal Canin Hairball Care supports the digestive tract with an exclusive fibre mix of psyllium, rich in mucus substances, and insoluble fibres. Feeding your cat exclusively on this food can offer results in as little as 14 days, with double the amount of hair being excreted with stool. Your cat will quickly feel healthier and happier, and can resume its cleaning habits as usual!

Royal Canin Hairball Care at a glance:
  • High-quality dry food for adult cats
  • Supports hair excretion: stimulates the digestive tract with the help of a special mix of fibres
  • Proven results: hairball reduction after two weeks (Royal Canin internal study)
  • Special, universal kibble shape:  the shape and size of this kibble has been developed to be ideal regardless of your cat's breed, size and weight
  • Combats hairballs: which can lead to vomiting and loss of nutrients
  • Special fibre mix: of psyllium and fibre to naturally stimulate the digestive tract
  • High protein content: for a good supply of energy and building blocks for the body
  • Adapted fat content: for a balanced level of nutrients
  • Balanced mineral content: to support the digestive tract

Best Biscuit
I tried this after my two young cats were suffering constipation, it was becoming miserable for them & me! The vet recommended a hairball diet, so I switched from whiskas dry food to royal canin hairball & they not only love it it’s kept them regular everyday, it is pricey but worth the money.

Great product but no closure on the 10kg
I always use the Royal Canin line on advice from my vet. They both seem to like this one, but it’s hard to tell yet if it’s helping with the hairballs. Whilst the 4kg is resealable, the 10kg isn’t, which stops me buying in bulk at much better prices - a bit daft..!

Excellent service
I used Bitiba for the first time recently and it was a very positive experience. Communication and delivery was excellent. The product itself is such high quality and this is the cheapest price I have found. My senior cats are thriving on it.

Does what it says!
It used to be upsetting watching him wretching and wretching and being sick. Since putting him on this brand and formula, his hairball problem is completely cured. He also loves the taste and wolfes it down every time. He's now been on it over a year. My only issue is that Royal Canin are very secretive about exactly what goes into their products meat wise and how much. Apart from that it's a great product, don't hesitate to buy.

Intense Hairball or Hairball care?
I have been using Royal Canin Intense Hairball and ordered a 10kg bag. Instead Hairball Care was delivered. Is there a difference?

Excellent
We tried our two indoor cats on several different foods before this one and this has definitely been the best, both in terms of nutrition and flavour. Our cat loves the taste of it. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for an ideal food for their longhaired cat.

Good flavour, fewer hairballs.
Our three cats have very thick coats en spit up a lot of hairballs. They don't go outside, so all the vomiting occurs in the house. Which obviously isn't ideal. They always eat Royal Canin food, so we quickly decided to try this variant. It's not like they no longer spit up hairballs at all, but it is significantly less. I am satisfied with the result and the cats really enjoy it.
