ROYAL CANIN Calm Cat is a complete dry food for adult cats in a changing environment. Royal Canin provides high quality formulas backed by scientific evidence for pets with specific health needs.

- Cats can have difficulty to cope with new environment and situations. This can negatively influence their well-being.
- Overgrooming and constant licking may cause hairball formation, hair loss and skin damage.
- Stressful situations can make that cat prone to urinary sensitivities and alter litter box usage
Remember to consult a veterinarian about the nutritional needs of your cat

- Appeasing nutrients: hydrolysed milk protein, L-trypotophan.
- Controlled levels of magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.

- CALMING SUPPORT - Hydrolysed milk protein and L-tryptophan to help manage behaviours associated to unual situations.
- HAIRBALL COMPLEX - A blend of fibres, including psyllium, help control hairball formulation by eliminating ingested hair.

MEASURE: Prepare your cat's food amount as shown on the pack. It is important to measure the right quantity to avoid overfeeding. Divide that portion over at least two meals per day.

How to help your cat transition to a new diet?

Changing your cat's diet can make a real difference to their health but remember that any transition has to be smooth and gradual. Combine old food with new, increasing the ratio every 2 days until your cat has fully adapted to their new diet. If you have any questions or concerns about your cat's health, please consult your veterinarian right away.

Tastes Fine
Both my cats love the food but I can't say I've noticed any difference in the stress and anxiety of the affected cat.

Could have opposite effect!
Can't fault product; cats liked it.1 of my rescue cats is v anxious.I tried usual behavioural things, pheromone sprays etc, then saw this so thought I'd try it.
Its chemistry says it breaks food down to products which increase Serotonin (happyhormone). In humans sometimes has the opposite reaction - increased anxiety &agitation. This happened to my cat, after 2-3 weeks he was v distressed, meowing constantly.Stopped it &he slowly got back to how he was previously. Disclaimer - I am a psychiatrist
