This dog food contains highly-digestible plant proteins in moderate amounts, to help support liver function. The copper content is extremely low, which can help to limit the amount that is stored in the liver cells.
This Royal Canin Veterinary Dog - Hepatic dog food also has a high energy density, which allows you to reduce portion sizes. This relieves pressure from the digestive tract whilst still providing your dog with all the energy it needs. The dietetic food also has an unbeatable flavour and is well-accepted by many dogs.

Rapid improvement!

My dog was found to have elevated AST levels following ingestion of an unknown poison. The vet recommended putting him on a hepatic diet for a few weeks to help him recover. The difference was dramatic: increased energy levels and reduced thirst almost immediately. I would recommend this food for a dog with liver problems.

Royal Canin Hepatic dry food for dogs

My Border Terrier Cross is 16 yrs old.She has a couple of problems one of which is a liver problem and the vet recommended Royal Canin Hepatic food. She has been having this dry food now for about 2 years and she is very active and happy. We go for long walks which she enjoys and I'm so pleased that we found a food that she enjoys and keeps her active.

Highly recommended

This food settled once and for all my dog's problems with liver. It is the only food that helped him, it really has made a big difference and it’s his favourite food . It does what it says. Great product, good value for the money. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

When my dog developed liver problems I decided to buy this product and honestly,the effect was immediate. She loves this food, so it must be tasty too. I highly recommend it.
