Royal Canin Veterinary - Renal RF 14 is an energy dense dog food, especially formulated to support renal function in the case of chronic or temporary renal insufficiency, through its low level of phosphorus and high quality protein.
Moreover, it is formulated to reduce oxalate stone formation, through its low level of calcium and vitamin D, and its urine alkalising properties.

Excellent product

Advised to put my 12( nearly 13 ) year old black lab on this food as he has stage one kidney failure as well as other health issues, bad arthritis and Addison’s disease. His kidney function has improved greatly, in fact back to normal, I have been told by my vet that it is undoubtedly prolonging my gorgeous boy’s life. I’m very happy , its worth every penny!

Excellent product

My 12 year old dog has stage 1 kidney failure and this food has proved a great success. No problems in changing his diet either as he loves this. Good price and delivery as well.

Addisons disease

Hatton has Addisons disease which means his kidneys do not function properly. Bless him he became skin and bone but now, eight months later, he is a healthy looking, solid, well covered dog he always was and he loves the food

Great food for dogs that have Renal failure

I feel this dog food has prolonged the life of my dog. He was diagnosed with Renal failure a year and a half ago. The vet said that to put this powder in his food to take out the phosphate or to put him on a special diet. The vet recommended the dog as its was lower phosphate than the powder. He has been on it for a yesr and a half and to be quite honest, I have seen a huge change in him. He is full of life (he's 11) and he eats well and the symptons that he has with renal failure decreased and he seems like a healthy, happy dog.
