This helps to ensure that your pet always receives its meal at the same time every day, regardless of your whereabouts, as well as making it easier to measure out portions consistently.The Trixie Automatic Food Dispenser TX2 is perfect for small dogs or cats, and can also be used to serve wet food as well as kibble. Each bowl can be easily cleaned and there is space for ice-packs beneath the dishes to help maintain food freshness.
The Trixie Automatic Food Dispenser TX2 is battery-operated, with each set of batteries lasting for approximately 1 year.

Worked, but didn't last
We've used this dispenser 5-6 times over the last year. It worked as explained in the instructions, and in this sense we've had no issues.Ice packs very good idea.
Unfortunately, our cat eventually managed to batter her way through, last time we returned to find one of the sections open, with the timer ripped out.
Not sure if we will reorder. It would help if the lids closing each section were air tight, as the cat knows the food is there all the time. Also, as other people have said, there is no way of telling whether the batteries will last until it's time for the lids to open, so we have had to use new batteries almost every time just to be sure.

I’m very happy with this feeder, it operates silently and is easy to use. It’s nice that it comes with freezer packs, the food will be kept cool in summer.

Very good indeed
Thanks to this automatic feeder our dog has his meals on time and he does not have to wait till we get home from work. It’s a wonderful invention
