I need single-protein food and this was a cheap option. After some initial fussiness, both cats ate it happily. For about a year now, there have been huge differences in quality. One can is only 3/4 full, the next one overflows. Sometimes it smells like cat food, sometimes like something that should come out again after a few hours. For about three weeks now, they’ve completely refused to eat it, and all the tricks with milk, butter or brewer’s yeast don’t work anymore.

It seems like it has the same ingredients as the 200g one, but my cats eat the 200g version, and with the 400g one, if they lick it twice, that's a lot. I really don't recommend this size, and for the price, there are other options out there.

I've been buying Feringa food for over a year and it always stood out for its quality—my cats, who are quite picky, ate it eagerly. This summer, for the first time ever, I returned my entire order because the food simply arrived spoiled. Since then, every order has been a gamble (some cans are fine, others have 'swollen' food with a bad smell and colour). I'm writing this with a heavy heart, but maybe this will help some people avoid problems and returns until the situation improves.
