My cats used to love these but the last tube I bought was completely different and now they won't touch them

My cat used to love these. However they have completely changed the product. The chicken pieces are now really hard, brittle and dry. Completely different to what the used to be. My cat will not touch these. Such a shame they messed with what was a winning formula....presumably it was to reduce costs etc. But they will lose many, many customers for this....and rightly so.

My cat really loves these. But recently there has been a lot of very small sharp pieces in the tin which he spits out, (he actually cut his gum once) I try to take them out but I sometimes miss them. He refuses to eat any sort of meat, cat food or human food, and these are the only things he will eat, so I have to buy them until (or when) he stars eating proper cat food. I've tried just about every brand I can find but he won't touch them!. I left 5 stars just to get my comment printed.

I have 6 cats and 5 of them love these. They are a great and healthy alternative to normal ‘treats’ as they are pure meat/protein. As soon as I open the lid my cats are on red alert.

I bought these to hide my cats small tablets in. It works wonders and my cat is obsessed with these treats. Unfortunately the packaging is a little loose so one has to repackage it to keep the smell inside.

Just moving the tube will make my cats come running! Then the noise of opening the lid gets them vocalising. These are their absolute favourite snacks, quickly followed by the stick-type treats. I usually get Chicken flavour, and sometimes tuna. They love both

My cat, Sweep, loves these treats and he's a very fussy eater. They're also great for him as he has to have a low fat diet and I was having trouble finding a low fat treat for him so great in both ways.

Our cats have loved these chicken snacks for years. However, they've recently changed (they now come in taller tins) and our cats are now turning their noses up at them. Such a shame, as for one of our cats these were the only snacks she would eat. Sometimes you get lucky and still receive the old version—leftover stock? Or are the old ones secretly making a comeback? We keep hoping, because now I have to disappoint that hopeful little face every time.

Since the bigger tubes, my cats won’t eat them anymore, even though they used to love them! I won’t be buying them again, especially with the price – it was already high but has gone up by several euros recently.

I've been buying this for years, but the manufacturer changed the recipe. Now my four cats won't eat it anymore—I'm really disappointed.

Freeze-dried chicken—you wonder how it can suddenly taste so different that it’s no longer considered tasty. My cats used to go crazy for this. Especially my female cat, she would almost kill for it. And now… she won’t touch it at all and doesn’t understand why she suddenly isn’t getting any treats anymore. And it’s bizarre to read that Toby is experiencing exactly the same thing. So Zooplus/Bitiba, please switch back to the old version.

I can agree with the comments from the other buyers. For 8 years, my girls looked forward to their treats every evening. Then the recipe was changed, and when it came to treats, I was really at a loss because they wouldn’t accept any alternatives. I’d be absolutely delighted if the manufacturer went back to the old recipe.

Like many others, my cats have been turning their noses up at the Snackies ever since the tin was changed. The unpleasant smell was obvious as soon as I opened it, and both of my tomcats immediately turned away and walked off. When I contacted customer service, I only got a half-hearted response offering to let me return part of the product—no answer at all to my question about changes to the recipe or the bad smell. Really disappointing, because the Snackies used to be the absolute favourite for my cats.

I had a subscription for years for Chicken, Whitefish and Mix. Had to cancel it because I have to throw everything away now.

The new product is simply awful and my pets refuse to touch it… it's nowhere near as good as it used to be until very recently.

Since the can got bigger and now has 91% protein instead of 76%, my cats won’t eat it anymore. Before, they used to devour it. I won’t be buying it again, even though I had it on subscription for years. Really a shame.
