The net does what it says on the box. Although it needs adequate attachment to the sides of the doorway. We set ours up across a conservatory doorway which is 2.1 metres X 2.3. The Pole which we also bought here easily spanned the gap , but we used a 2 x2 " timber to hold the bottom of the net down and no damage hooks at the sides.

I bought this net a few weeks ago to prevent my cats from falling out of the windows. It goes great but still I cannot comment on its durability, as it takes time to test it. But I can already open the windows without fear.
