Feathers come off when unpacking. Cat nearly ate it. The rod is uncomfortable to hold and so flimsy, it joint insecurely, cat play rough she just pull the 2 parts apart and run away with the feather in mouth. dangerously with a sharp end easily poke in her body shall she jump down with it.

Yes the cats love it, but it is dangerous! Having had it less than two hours I have just retrieved the length of elasticated string that my kitten was in the process of swallowing due to the fact that the end is not secure, it easily comes off the wand as the kitten catches the feathers and runs off with their prey, this happened whilst being supervised, I'm only glad I didn't leave them to play with it alone. To say I am very disappointed with this item would be an understatement.

Hello, Unfortunately, it took less than an hour for 2 out of 3 rods to break. I honestly don't know if it was because of my cat, who was a bit overenthusiastic, or if that's just how they're made. The glue at the tip comes off too quickly to keep the elastic attached to the rod. Otherwise, it's a great product. He clearly loved it and went crazy for it. Sadly, though, only for about 30 minutes each time :)
