I couldn’t fit all my first review in, so here goes…. Ive bought a second ferret on my next order, due to the first purchase being a winner. I would just like to add that all 4 of my girls absolutely loved this ferret, they roll over it, bite it while shaking it all over the place like they have just caught it and also walk off with it, as they don’t want to share. If you want to keep the smell alive keep the original bag closed and put the ferret back in for a day or two.Highly Recommended 5*.

Well ferrets are stinky!…. Before I even opened this bag I knew it was going to be a winner as my cats was all jumping into the Bitiba delivery box. Upon wrestling with my girls, I finally got my hands on the ferret, upon opening the actual bag , I can only describe the smell as what I can imagine to be like an old man that has never ever washed his socks or himself for that matter, as women only smell of flowers, lol and within no time at all one of my cats had swiped the smelly ferret from me.

Cat can’t say no to this toy. But be careful as my cat shows over excited. I only supervise him playing for five minutes and then take this away.

just gave this to my cat as she was sniffing the packet, she has gone crazy so I went to take it off her and she hissed and bit me....think she loves it. I purchased two as I have two cats, think I will by two more for my Mums cats

This smells like gone-off bananas its not pleasant - but my cat loves it and goes berserk. I leave his toys in the bag (in a drawer) with this to absorb the smell then rotate those toys, as the toy itself isn't that well made and I'm worried about him eating the fake fur! It still works well though and this way doesn't stink the house out! :-) Its not terrible but it isn't nice however I do have a sensitive nose. The cat knows when I'm going to retrieve another horrid smelling toy!

My cat absolutely loved his valentine's ferret delivery. It got him straight away, and before I gave him the toy he was rubbing against the delivery box and other items delivered. Fantastic product, my cat has enjoyed attacking the ferret and rubbing on it. Great alternative if your cat isn't reactive to catnip.

Instantly my cat grabbed it from me and wrestled it. He LOVES it! It has a strong smell but this shows how much herb it has in it.

My cats are obsessed with this, I have bought one for my aunties cat, my friends cat. I have 19 cats and have had to buy over 10 because they get so possessive over them. Definitely recommend

Both cats were fixated on this toy, immediately rubbing themselves on it and throwing it in the air. We found one cat cuddling it this morning, what a good purchase they love it

My cats liked and were almost fighting each other over it. Good job I also bought another toy with the same filling ;) I am not overly keen on the smell myself, but as long as the babes are happy ... ... It's not a catnip toy, the label says it has silver vine and valerian. The German on the package may be also referring to catnip as in cat mint but the valerian is massively overpowering. Anyway, my cats keep on playing with both toys :) It is an attractive well made toy.

Three seconds after opening the bag and my cat went crazy! She started licking it and scratching it and fighting it! Hoping that she will keep playing with it after the scent wears off - even so, the price is so low that I won't mind buying more.

Both my 2yo and 11yo love this. sent them both nutty and "fighting" over who got to play with it first. As someone else pointed out the silvervine does wear off quickly (hence 4* insteadof 5) but luckily enough my 11yo is still happy to play with it! My youngest gets way too stimulated by catnip so the silvervine is a great substitute!

My kitties went bonkers for this I really must buy more, My kitten love to jump on it beat it up then carry it off in his mouth, great play fun for the cats Huge entertainment value for humans

This silvervine ferret is brilliant! All 3 of my cats go bonkers for it, especially when it's fresh out of the box, 3 of my neighbours cats visit me regularly and the silvervine has the exact same effect on them too!...when they come in they can smell it and begin searching for it and proceed to roll around on the floor, biting and kicking. The only negative thing I have to say about this toy is that the silvervine does 'wear off' fairly quick, you can tell when the effect is wearing off as they stop going crazy with it and 'seeking it out' therefore I do find myself replacing them often. But all in all I would highly recommend- very entertaining watching it change your cuddly cat into a loon for 10 minutes
