I have a rescue Patterdale terrier who had skin problems until I had him on a raw diet. I’ve found some companies ingredients were not as they used to be and as Angus can’t have any poultry or carbs or the result was a very itchy yeasty dog. So I changed one company to giving him just the beef one of these with a half pack of frozen beef & tripe from a well known pet store and he’s drastically improved. He still eats raw but it’s less common and he’s totally a different dog. Great skin & fur now

We have been feeding our three dogs on this now for a year. They have a normal Activity routine and are as fit as they need to be to keep them happy and without excess weight. We have a cairn terrier a bichon/poodle and a standard 27kg labradoodle. The labradoodle has Addison's disease so his nutrition is key to his health as he can deteriorate quickly and without warning. He has a low immune system and cannot produce cortisone for himself. It keeps his muscle mass strong and his weight up. Poos are solid and smaller than most other dogs, proving full absorption of the feed. This food is pure meat, you can see the chunks and fibres as you prepare their dinner. They absolutely woof it down twice a day without fail. I recommended it to my neighbour who's dogs were picky and its solved their problems and helped calm them down too. Their coats are shiny (we also add a little cod liver oil due to their types of coat) and they carry no excess weight. They are all muscle and full of beans without being hyper. The reason I leave this review is because I honestly have not found a comparative product on the market and we have tried most things. And when you have the vets bills we get when the addisons dog is sick it is so important to get his food right. Our dogs are solid, muscly and strong and can run like the wind so nutrition is every bit as important as our own. Try the mixed trial packs as they add variety to the dogs diet and it helps to work out which flavours they like. Let's face it who would want to eat the same dinner every day for life, I feel sorry for dogs that have no interesting variety in their diet it must be so boring. All our dogs are now 2 years old and feeding them this food has been a relief because I am so happy with their health. My only warning is that they will keep eating so don't over feed. It is pure protein, no fillers or grain just meat and nutrition. Add it to their diet gradually so their digestive system can adapt to what it was made for. And order in plenty of time before you run out because delivery is usually 4 or 5 days.

This food tastes our three dogs great. A mixed breed Tibetan Terrier and two other labs. It is very well tolerated and the amount is perfect. We've been using it for over 10 years and would not buy another wet food. Now buying even cheaper from bitiba. :-)

My dogs love it!

I bought this product for the first time, and probably the last! From the middle of the can, there was a lump of fat in the centre, and at the bottom, a 4-5 cm thick layer of fat. Sorry, but I won’t be giving that to my dogs. My dogs did enjoy it after I removed the fat! Such a pity.

In the last two deliveries, there were a lot of fatty lumps, which I always removed because my dog gets diarrhoea from them. In 2025 it was still acceptable, but right now I'm considering switching to another manufacturer!! Unfortunately, I'm disappointed because the prices keep going up, but the food has gotten worse..!!!

We are very satisfied with the quality. The value for money is great. What I don’t like is that the tins only say “with…” and don’t mention that they mainly contain pork. I’ll order different varieties in the future.

I’ve been feeding this food for years, but I’ll probably have to look elsewhere now, because for quite some time there’s been an extreme amount of fat in the tin. There’s a solid layer of pure fat at the bottom. Before I feed it, I have to pick out a good 100 grams of fat from the food. Also, a lot of tins now contain pork. That’s a no-go. Really disappointing. It used to be a good tinned food.

I thought this brand made quality products, but I find there's way too much fat. I spent 10 minutes sorting through one box and I need three boxes per meal, so it's a bit of a hassle.... My dogs liked it.
