Cat's Best Original Cat Litter - 40l

Having used this product for years with no complaints, the last bag I received appeared to contain wood shavings, and the most recent one is obviously just not the same product. It is lighter in colour, which isn't an issue; however, the litter turns to absolute mush, so removal isn't good. A couple of friends have confirmed these exact same issues, so it's not just me. I simply want to ask why, when you had a perfectly good product?

After reading all the positive reviews on this product, I thought I'd give it a try for my 3 cats. I liked the colour (prefer light coloured litter) and was quite happy with it until my cats started using the litter box. You always expect some tracking with litter, but I have never used litter that tracks so much litter all through the house. It's on the living room floor, on the settee, chairs, table, in my bedroom, kitchen. You name it, and there's cat litter lying around. I have to hoover every time my cats use the litter box. It is really terrible, and the tracking lumps are big too, so they are easily visible in the home. I will not buy this litter again. I'd rather stick with World's Best Cat Litter. It may be more expensive, but you don't get the tracking like this one.

The litter is great! I love it!! But the price is outrageous!! I just checked to see how much it was and it's gone up ridiculously, last time I got a great deal at €23.99, even though the usual price is €32.99… but today it's at €43.99!! Are we crazy or what? If it stays at this price, I'll look for alternatives, it's just not doable!!

However, without batting an eyelid, on the ten-litre pack, they say the price per litre is 0.60-something. And that's coming from someone who's not great at maths. It's a good litter (though it could be improved), which is why I buy it fairly often, but cheap it definitely isn't. It's annoying that they even lie about the price per litre on the ten-litre pack. Either fix it or lower the price, because I can assure you, especially those of us with several cats, we really notice it on the bill...

Cat’s Best used to be much coarser. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case and it’s now very dusty. So we’re forced to switch to a different cat litter. That’s a real shame because it clumps really well and is odourless.

Having used 100% clay litter for a very long time, I had to switch to clumping and plant-based litter after buying an automatic litter box. But this litter isn’t really clumping and it sticks to the silicone bottom of the box with urine... In short! Very disappointing, and unfortunately I bought 3 bags of 40 litres each...
