Tigerino Crystals Clumping Cat Litter – Sensitive (Unscented)

This litter isn’t so heavy, which is important to me. It’s fine-grained and looks like white sand. My outdoor cat doesn’t use it that often, so the price isn’t really important for me. Because it clumps, I don’t have to change the whole amount so often. However, with urine you have to wait until the next day for the clump to really harden, otherwise it can still fall apart a bit.

Easy to clean, stays clean for a long time, absorbs odours, great price. It's true though that it gets tracked out a bit more.

This litter is perfect—it dries out the poo quickly and clumps the pee really well. It doesn’t stick to their paws, so my cats don’t track it everywhere, just a little bit in front of the trays when they come out, and it’s not dusty. The 5L bag size is easy to handle. It’s much lighter than regular clumping litters, absorbs better, and is also more economical in the long run.

I used to order litter with large crystals; the cats would use it and everything was fine. The solid waste had to be removed daily, but the pee stayed in the tray. However, after a few days, the whole litter box would start to smell. So you had to change all of it. If the litter box was open, the crystals would fly everywhere. There was a mess all over the bathroom. By mistake, I bought this sand, and now I only use this litter. I have a HopIn box, and if you keep the litter at least 6 cm deep so the urine can't reach the bottom, it's all good. Otherwise, just put a mat in front of the toilet and sweep up, or use a vacuum if needed.
