Cleaning of the Drinking Fountain:
- Clean the Raindrop Drinking Fountain once a week using a soft sponge or by washing it in the dishwasher.
- Cleaning the pump: The pump should be cleaned at least every four weeks. Regular cleaning will extend its life and prevent operating noise developing which is caused by lime scale.
- Changing the filter: We recommend changing the filter after no later than 4 weeks for a single cat and no later than every 2 - 3 weeks for several cats.

Love the fountain, shame about the replacement filters
I love the fountain, but getting really frustrated with the lack of availability for the replacement filters. Have requested notification for when they are back in stock three times and they never arrive ??? in fact, while they've been out of stock the price has gone up - what's happening Zooplus ?

Couple of vulnerabilities
The Raindrop is great in design and handling, and is easy to clean.
Unfortunately, inventive cats can lift the shell very quickly, causing the whole jet to break up. Being directed outside. It happened here and half the kitchen was under water.
Likewise, limescale is fast on the top, even if you use it as here only with still mineral water. Therefore, clean regularly with a limescale remover.
All in all: 4 stars ☆☆☆☆

Easy to clean, light, quiet, easy to use
Advantages:
+ easy cleaning
+ light weight
+ dishwasher safe
+ Add water easily
+ quiet, if there is enough water in it
+ easy to disassemble & reassemble
Disadvantage:
- With calcareous water, it quickly gets limescale, which is difficult
- For 3 cats, water must be replenished almost daily
All in all: TOP TOP TOP!

Spare parts are available!
So far, I have been discouraged from buying this fountain because other reviews said that there are no spare parts (e.g. a new pump). However, now I know that they are readily available. Let's go ...

Dangerous
The motor wire has to be bent to get through the slot made for it and after many times bending it round,the wire where it joins the motor has become exposed, leaving it dangerous as it comes into contact with water. Expensive so should have been better designed

Very Disappointing
Thank you to Zooplus for providing a full no quibble refund for our purchase of this fountain. Whilst this product may look slick, we had a number of issues. Firstly the transformer supplied was not a very good fit and came in two parts, probably due to it not being a uk produced item. Secondly the motor was very noisy and vibrated more than expected. Thirdly the water reached a higher temperature than room temperature and had to be changed daily. Fourthly the motor packed up after 5 weeks of use.

Cats love it
Our kitties love this, it's stylish and they actually drink from it! You can see now much they drink too which is good and it's easy to top up. Clean once a week for no problems. Also quite funny to watch the cats watching the bubbles!

Add your own plug
Just a quick note to those who are capable of wiring a plug, just cut off the supplied one and add a UK 3-pin plug. Simples!
(If you are not sure how to fit a plug, please consult a qualified electrician.)

Mixed feelings
Dismal failure in our house, cat steadfastly ignored it. I suspect because there is flow, but no 'freefall' - he likes drinking drips from taps. Machine itself is fairly quiet, but power supply plug and adaptor arrangement is very bulky and temperamental. Fountain often stopped and needed plug jiggling. Chose it because it looks stylish online, but in real life it looks unnervingly like an aliens bedpan. On good side, Zooplus say they will take it back (without question) - which surprised me. Excellent service.

Stylish, quiet and cats love it!
I have it for about a year now and it's brilliant, no slimy stuff gathering, just have to wash it properly once a week and refill fresh water. It would be great if zooplus had replacement pumps as I used boiling water to disinfect the pump and it broke. So now I have look somewhere I can buy a pump for it.

Quiet and stylish!
I was looking for a water fountain that wasn't plastic and was dishwasher proof, and this one fits the bill! It is also quieter than my previous one (Drinkwell Platinum), takes up less space and looks much nicer. Oh, and the cats like it, too!

Happy kitty
Have been told about these from a friend, As I am feeding my kitten on dry food, These are the best way for your kitty to enjoy full benfits of tap water, Its a very healthy option for your kitty and costs very little to run and use, My kitty took to it right away and has never looked back

Great product and happy cats!
Only had this for a few days, however it's proved successful with our 4 fussy felines. It's taken 4 or 5 days for them to get used to it - but they are all drinking from it and I'm so pleased to find a produt that encourages them to drink water. Easy to assemble, quiet operation and looks great!

Very quiet and looks great
Having done the Drinkwell and then the Lucky Cat ceramic fountain, this is much quieter and offers more drinking area for the cats than all the others. No problems getting them used to it and all seem to like different parts to drink from. Four happy customers. Only one request - am very tired of having to use adapters for anything from Zooplus. Please please please, make some of the UK for us UK customers, the adapters are unreliable - several times they become loose and the fountain stops working because of this.

Very nice looking drink fountain cats just getting used to it now and seem to be pleased. One concern though zooplus - where do I get the filters from??

Hygienic, Clean and Happy feline cats!!
This is superb, easy to assemble and not too big, keeps the water cool. ZOOPLUS again, we love the way you keep our felines happy by updating your products but can you stock the filters and accessories to with this fountain as difficult to source in UK since you are the only supplier right now, thanks.....:)
