SureFlap from Sure Petcare is a revolutionary, battery-powered cat flap which reads your cat's chip and uses it as an electronic key.

The pet chip is a tiny glass tube with a microchip which contains a unique identification number. This chip is implanted in your cat's skin and entered on a database, together with its name and your address. Using a chip reader, a vet can then identify the owner of, for example, a lost cat.

If your cat doesn't want to get a microchip implanted, you can also use the Microchip Cat Flap with a RFID collar tag. The collar tag can be acquired separately and is not included in delivery of the cat flap.

SureFlap cat flap saves your cat's chip number with just one push of a button. It is possible to programme in up to 32 different chip numbers. Once saved, the SureFlap cat flap from Sure Petcare will only open for your cat, stray cats or other unwelcome visitors will stay outside.

The antenna that reads the chip is inside the tunnel, giving it exceptional range. Also, if the chip happens to slip from its position, it can still be easily recognised. The flap overs inwards after a fraction of a second and closes automatically a few seconds after your cat has passed through the tunnel.

The SureFlap also has a manual 4-way locking system, which comes into effect when chip recognition is not functioning correctly and works without the need for excess effort.

SureFlap from Sure Petcare is easy to install. Its measurements fit into many existing holes from other cat flaps.
An optional window adapter can be bought separately for installation in windows; it is also very suitable for covering larger holes. You will find detailed installation instructions in the user manual.

Important: Please check the construction of your door before ordering
The SureFlap cat flap can be easily installed into any kind of door. When dealing with doors with a metal plate, the user instructions should be followed since metal can interfere with the reader capabilities of the cat flap. But when installed correctly, this should not pose a problem. Specific instructions for installation in doors with metal layers or a metal core can be found in the user manual.

We've had this cat flap now for over a year now and it has worked perfectly for our two cats

very good

I have not had any problems with this cat flap so far. It’s almost a year since I’ve bought it and I have not had to change the batteries yet. Neighbour’s cats no longer enter the house and I can keep mine at home when needed. It was a good buy.

Great

We have it in use for over a month now and it works great. I wouldn’t choose a smaller one as this is the right size for fully grown cats. With this door you have great control and you can program it as you like. There's so much you can set with this flap. Instruction manual is clear. I highly recommend this pet door.
