Royal Canin Veterinary Diet - Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie is designed with cats with intestinal problems in mind. If your cat is overweight with a gastrointestinal disorder and gains weight easily, you may be advised to feed it a lower calorie food that is easier to digest. Cats have a very sensitive digestive tract so problems with the digestive tract are common. You may find that your cat vomits frequently or has chronic diarrhoea, which makes a long-term change in diet necessary. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet - Intestinal Moderate Calorie dry cat food is ideal for cats that gain weight easily as it has a moderate calorie content and still tastes good.

This dry kibble also contains fermentable fibres (FOS, dried beet pulp) that can help to balance gut flora and promote good digestive transit. Added mannan-oligo-saccharides (MOS) help the intestines to fight bad bacteria and infections, whilst long chain fatty acids EPA and DHA also support intestinal health.
