Good, but not great - dusty!
I really liked this litter to begin with.
It clumps well, is flushable, biodegradable and natural fibre. But sadly, it has two big downsides:
It tracks a lot! You do have to hoover everyday religiously
And it generates a lot of dust! I've been using this litter for a year+, the battle against dust is neverending.
Also, I first switched because it was cheaper than Cat's Best's original, but now they cost the same. I'm looking for something better at a similar price/cheaper. Maybe corn based.

Used to be better, I still use it
It used to be whiter and clumping better. Last purchased 30l bag quality was downright, the colour is darker. This is a review of a large 30l bag. Sometimes it doesn’t make a large clump but breaks apart or it turns to a gel after my cat pied. However I prefer it to large wool pellets and it’s better to use for kittens.
Cats like it, Humans don't
Why cats seem to like it:
- They love to dig in the stuff and get it all over their fur, stuck on their paws...
Why the humans are not a fan:
- The cats track it all over the house because its stuff on their paws.
- After 3 days in the litter box it starts to lose its clumping ability, becomes more like sawdust, thus making it even messier.
- Smells are better neutralised with other wood pellet type litters, this one doesn't mask smells as well and doesn't have a fresh smell.
Not quite up to the job
This litter is great value but does not clump as good as others on the market
So I won’t be buying again
Not suitable for clean freaks! Go with clay version
Positives:
+ Doesn't smell bad at all
+ Clumps pretty well
+ Flushable
+ No dust so good for cats with allergies or just for their respiratory system in general
Negatives:
- Tracks EVERYWHERE!
- Gets stuck to cats' paws and fur, so again, gets EVERYWHERE, especially if you cats are long-haired! Anywhere the cats go, you will find bits of litter.
- The clumps tend to break apart sometimes leaving wet bits of litter that are hard to scoop out
- Doesn't cover the smell of poo well
Very Dusty
I found this at first perfect, no dust, hardly tracked and my cats loved it. The 2nd bag was a little dusty and the clumping was soft and broke apart and I noticed both my cats eyes started to water each time they used the litter trays. I am on my 3rd bag (I bought 4 of the 30l in total) and it has gotten worse - tracks everywhere, very very dusty, only really clumps well on wee and my poor cats eyes are dreadful and It also makes my eyes water. I will not be buying this again
Not for me
Positives first. Absolutely no odour, just remove the clumps no need to keep changing the litter. Unfortunately it tracks so much and makes so much mess I won't be ordering this again
Good but goes everywhere
This is a really good litter, the cats love it and it has good odour control which is needed when you have four cats, however I won't be buying it again as it goes everywhere, I need to hoover everyday now otherwise it builds up all over the place, such a shame as the cats are happy with it!
Not my favourite
While the price was very cheap I would not buy this again. It’s very dusty and my cat sneezed when she scratched in it.
