This works well with World's Best Cat Litter and catches most of it. Easy to shake clean and I have washed also it in the washing machine, 30 degrees, short wash cycle a few times when the cat missed the tray or had dirty paws.... Comes up like new, dries quickly too.

It is a good mat if you use small grain litter .I used different litter before with larger grains and though it gathered enough sand, I still found litter scattered in the living room, despite sweeping the carpets daily. With the new smaller grain litter this mat works great, everything stays on the mat and the rest of the house is spotless

I am very satisfied with this purchase,it removes all the litter particles from the paws when my cat gets out of the litter box
