I have bought this post before or so I thought, when it came it was a lot smaller. My large Maine Coon cats are too big for it, they loved their old ones and now I will have to look elsewhere for another one. Nothing was written that it was smaller, and as I have purchased some before I never looked at the reviews. I am very disappointed that I thought I was buying what I have bought before

have bought this post many times now and getting totally fed-up with the quality, doesn't last any length of time. my two ragdolls use it on daily basis but after a couple of weeks it starts to fall apart, the sisal rope is only wound round and not glued so after time the rope snaps and leaves a mess. honestly please don't waste your money, very very poor quality.

On previous/similar versions the sisal started closer to the top. This starts 8" from the top consequently if my two cats (4kg, not monsters) stretch their claws are above the sisal. Instead they don't stretch as much and the top few inches show all the wear and the sisal is coming off in less than three months. I normally replace every year so this feels like poor value.

Why are these getting SMALLER I bought one 3-4 years ago and my cats loved it! I have two Adult Maine Coons and they would climb up and scratch have ordered a replacement and I am so disappointed so very very small in comparison!!!! I would rather have the original big size and pay more than this tiny one that my cats hate!

Not worth the money - previous one lasted years, this one only three months. Come down this morning to sisal hanging off and fluff all over. Time for a new one!

I brought this 6 months ago for my 3 siamese cats. They love stretching out on this post but the quality is poor. The sisal rope has come off and I am in the market for a new scratching post. I will not be buying this product again.

My order has just arrived & I had to contact CS as it is not what I ordered, I expected the post to be like the post I purchased previously.No where did it say that the original post had been replaced with an inferior one.The older one I thought I'd ordered is a thicker post with more scratching area & a square base, the one I received is thinner & has hardly any scratching area. No use for my 2 large cats.Zooplus should say if they have substituted an item.This one is going back :-(

I brought the jumbo one about 2 years ago and lasted really well especially with a Maine coon cat, replaced with this one within 24hours had holes appear in it, so they sent a replacement and again within 6 weeks the post was falling apart. Very disappointed with this product. Bring the old jumbo one back that was much better quality.

This is the 3rd time I've bought this scratch post and it is now considerably smaller than the old one for the same price! Going to have to find a replacement elsewhere next time! My cats used to love running up to the top and sitting there not sure they'll be able to do it as well on this post.

used to be Jumbo size now is smaller size and not so stable like old one disappointed

I bought this post as a replacement for one I have had for 3 years. The height is much smaller with far less sisal the colour is also not dark grey but brown . Extremely disappointed, I will be returning. First time I have ever been disappointed with your products.

This is smaller than the previous posts and the sisal is poor quality, coming apart very quickly. The fabric at the top has split and the whole thing is a waste of money.

Smaller than the older version in all ways, smaller base, smaller in height and the height of the sisal is lower so for large cats they may not get a full stretch. Still seems sturdy but only time will tell. Came in a smaller package so perhaps this is why they've gone smaller ?

Like some other reviewers this was a follow-up to an earlier version and its construction is not as solid. Original was two pieces. This is four pieces, presumably for ease of transport. It can and does take the weight of NFC's but the sisal has given up far too quickly. Have just ordered the zoolove Scratching Post XXL with 1cm diameter sisal as a replacement. More expensive certainly, but you do get what you pay for.

This is the 3rd one of these posts I have bought, It has got a lot smaller and thinner and is not as sturdy as the old style post (same price though). Such a shame as I know this wont last as log as the other 's I bought, Not happy my cats are quite small Simesse but jump around like mad . I am glad I still have the old one as I will try and get it restrung,

I didn't check the measurements before I ordered this so when it arrived I was surprised at how large it is! I'm glad I got it though because the size is actually just right. My cats get a good stretch using it and one of them loves to climb all the way up and perch on top. After a few months' use it still looks great and is still very sturdy.

I bought one for my large Maine Coons a while ago and was amazing after moving into a larger place thought to get another one but wish I hadnt bothered, my girl loves climbing the old one but the new one is about 2 inches smaller in width and again in height not impressed at all, instead of making it smaller I would have preferred them to have put the price up! As was an excellent product my cats took to the old one straight away even with catnip but think they loved the size amazing how 2 inches makes a difference to a cat

Excellent value for money. We have two cats and they both use the post. Would recommend to others as we were recommended to the site.

We have two 6-month-old cats and needed them to stop scratching the sofa before the upholstery started to show the damage so ordered this. I didn't check the measurements and was slightly taken aback by how tall it is but I'm glad I got it because I think the large size is really an advantage. The little cat started using it within about 2 minutes and then figured out how to climb up and perch on top! Her brother took a few days to figure out what it was for but both of them have stopped scratching the sofa now so I'm really pleased. I'm planning to mount a shelf on the wall above so they can run up the post and jump onto the shelf which I think they'll really enjoy.

Product is good size, good balance but quality not so much. Rope is just stick to the top so after few months it's coming down and you can see a cardboard and material on the top is tearing apart. Anyway my cats like it.
