Very robust
I've had this tree for half a year now and it's called into action several times a day. It's so stable that my Norwegian Forest Cat can jump on it without knocking it over. The finish is very good and you can hardly tell it's been used after half a year. Holds firm even when both of my cats are playing on/with it.
I can only recommend it.

Top!
Neat and robust cat tree. Perfectly adequate. High enough for cats to stretch and scratch like they would against a tree.
We've had it for roughly 4 years and the sisal is only loose in one or two places.
Good quality finish. Stable enough for bigger cats.

Brilliant cat post
Our British Shorthair kitten Chesney loves this post. He often runs up and down it and sits on top. He was always trying to sit on his smaller scratching posts but this one is so big he has a much higher success rate! The base is a good size so his hind claws are well off the carpet when he does his claws too. Excellent!!

Fantastic value for the money.
My two kittens absolutely love this post, it's great to play chase up and down and launch themselves off the top. Lily sits there waiting for eye level cuddles. My two senior cats have a good stretch with it but haven't gone as far as climbing up. It's got a nice big furry base were they have their catnip toys so they're all happy. It seems to be well made and believe me I am fussy! All in all a very good buy.

total rubbish
We have had one of these before, and it has lasted nearly 2 years with large cats, maine coon and norwegians, so we thought we would get 2 more for the other cats normal sized cats, put up and due to a design change it lasted less than 20 mins before the pole pulled the base apart, the previous one had 2 screws holding it to the base the new one has one, would give no stars, but cant.

nice and big
I feel bad that the cats don't have trees to climb and one of my cat is a climber, so i wanted to get a climbing pole for him. I live in an apartment, so I can't install anything that will reach the ceiling. This is nice and tall. It's sturdy too. I'm very happy. The ropes loosen a little on top and my cats nails are always trimmed, so I can see that being a problem for people with untrimmed cat nails, but I'm still happy with this purchase

Return to kittenhood
I already had the Olga scratching post, which my two moggies loved but had outgrown, so when I saw this at almost half price I had to get it for them. The post and base went together very easily and securely; and the base is big, so it's very stable in use.
My cats love it. It is big enough for them to chase each other up it, and the top is big enough for one to sit very comfortably (and reach down to bat the other one on the head). They are 4 1/2 now and don't play together as much as they used to, but they play with this Jumbo post just like they did with the smaller one when they were kittens. My little girl also loves to climb up and sit nose to nose with me for a fuss, in fact it's the first thing she does every morning and has become part of her morning routine.
Thanks Zooplus for yet another brilliant item, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Excellent!
My two cats love this. They love climbing to the top of it. It's very sturdy and quite tall, so bigger cats are able to stretch up and have a really good scratch without it falling over.

Works well with a little adjustment
I also initially had the problem that the bit the base screwed into came away from the tube, but I glued it back in and attached two shelf brackets to the base and into the post itself and now my three cats happily run up and down it with no problem.

A good buy!
Bought a while ago for my Bengal type rescue cat, he was perched on top within five minutes of assembly, and really loves it. I've just got a 13-week old Bengal kitten, tiny but fearless, he too loves the post. A bargain, still shows little signs of damage

The cats love it...
I thought I was buying a slightly larger scratching post to the one I already had, but when the box arrived and I unpacked it, I almost cried with laughter.
I'm 6' tall, and now my cat can climb the scratching post and look me in the eye. The cats think its great fun and since it's arrival they've kept their paws off the furniture (and the old scratching post).
The only challenge now is which cat gets to sit on the top as there is only room for one!

Huge! well worth it
The post is much higher than I expected which is great. It is tall and sturdy, so even bigger cats can have fun climbing high without any risk of post falling over. Definitely worth the money.

the big post
I have 11 cats and they all love it, but the material on top is coming away from where the rope is. but all in all love it. My sphinx use it the most though.

Much better than my stairs!!
After my two burmese were ruining (using) my stair carpet for scratching, I bought this super large scratch post in desperation!! It is big, but the cats love it and soon were up the top and hanging off the sides! Love it, dont hesitate to purchase if you want to keep your stair carpet! Great value for money. It is sturdy too and balanced.

Best buy ever!
Both cats love this scratching post and can be seen scratching and climbing it throughout the day. Best of all, it is the only thing I've bought - and believe me I've spent a fortune! - that has actually stopped them ripping the carpet on the bottom step and destroying the entire wooden staircase! In comparison to other scratching posts this is bearing up very well indeed.

My four love this thing - please keep selling it!
My four have always had scratching posts, but this is the first one tall enough to allow them to hang their full body length from, and they very obviously appreciate it, because they swarmed up the thing like Special Forces the minute it was put together.
I bought the light grey - a very attractive item, took me all of one minute to assemble, and is very stable even with two full grown male Oriental Shorthairs hanging off it. Will definitely buy again when this one dies.

A hit
I bought this scratch post because a) I was waiting for a nice big pillar to be available and b) to stop my Coonie from destroying my yoga mats. As soon as I'd put the thing up, my cat was already on top of it. The second one was right on its tail but was quite disappointed when there was only space for one. My little ones go up and down the tree on the daily and love sitting on top and even my slightly older Persian gave climbing it a go. She's happy enough scratching for the moment (quite surprising in and of itself as she usually takes months to warm to new scratch posts!)

About to buy my second in case of fire or flood....
I have five rescue cats of indeterminate breed and various ages. They all, without question, love this scratching post - only my very oldest cat (13 when we got this post) occasionally goes back to her favourite armchair 'scratcher' and she can soon be persuaded to move to the new post again! The only boy loves to sit on the top (you come face to face with him when you enter the room) and they all enjoy a good stretching scratch. 'Scatty catty' fun of chasing up and down it means that I too am finding the sisal is gapping a bit, but not sufficiently to worry me yet. Tieing mouse toys near the top to dangle half way down, particularly if they are on elastic, adds to the fun had with this marvelous invention. It is so wonderful I couldn't bear to be without it now - my pets would be bereft - so I'm about to take advantage of the sale to buy another for the cupboard, just in case of fire or flood destroying the first one!
