I have a 6 year old yorkie and we've given him this food for years and never had problems. My hair dresser and vet always admired his coat. But lately I've been noticing that he's not reacting to the food the same, he's not excited, does not really want to eat. I started getting worried when he started throwing up and for a week he didn't eat anything. Turned out he had an infection and was on antibiotics. After he recovered I gave him the food again and he didn't want it. I had to throw the granules away. I'm worried the quality is not as good now. Is it?

I am female, 11 months old and have been eating RC since childhood. I never had a reason to change the granules and gladly lick the whole bowl dry. My owner sometimes try to change the food for her own reasons, but I insist on royal canin. a happy dog!

Sammy's really fussy but I can always get him excited with this great dry food.
