Savic Nestor Cat Litter Box

After reading the great reviews about this I went ahead & purchased one. Sadly however, I too received one where the door is too short & doesn’t fit properly. This means odour control is a HUGE issue. I couldn’t return as my previous box was broken & this was desperately needed. Otherwise size, shape, colour & ease of cleaning all great. Just a pity that odour control & door let it down so badly.

First litter tray ordered was all broken in the box as badly packaged and replacement sent. The door on replacement doesn’t close properly and has a big gap but otherwise seems ok.

Really good price and a sturdy litter box (I got it with the liners too!), my only issue is the door doesn’t sit right, it falls onwards so there is a large gap - going to exchange it for another and see what that’s like

Unfortunately, not very sturdy! Cat urine really takes its toll on the liner and it becomes brittle. I can imagine that with enthusiastic scratching from little paws, it would tear quickly too. Still, I use the bags because I just don’t want to be washing the litter trays all the time. So I’d rather change the bags more often. That’s why 3 stars.

Bought for €23 in 2023. The price has almost doubled since then!!!! That’s really a big problem. Otherwise, it’s great—two of my cats have taken to it, the third is old and fussy (he also has several health issues) so I didn’t expect him to use it, but there’s another one for him, without a door. It’s really good, but as someone else mentioned, you need to install the door with the hollow side facing outwards, otherwise it doesn’t close properly. Reviewed by Shorenaa
